our story
Eric grew up in Philadelphia and Chicago.
Dianna grew up in San Antonio.
They went to separate schools, enjoying both incredible basketball (Duke) and frustratingly mediocre football (Northwestern).
It didn't seem likely that their paths would cross.
Luckily, they both accepted offers to work for ExxonMobil in Fairfax, Virginia, and met when Eric's supervisor forced him to vacate his desk... so that Dianna could take his spot.
Despite the fact that Eric the intern had been pushed aside by this hot shot new hire, the two of them became best friends after he returned to work full time the following February. Over the next year and a half, they had a blast exploring Washington DC with their friends and hoped they'd never be separated.
Unfortunately, Dianna was then transferred to New Orleans to work at the Chalmette Refinery. Eric, being much younger than Dianna (aka 9 months), had to stay with his current group for another year and was subsequently moved to Houston.
At first, he was told he'd be relocating to Beaumont, Texas. A few months later, he was told that he'd be relocating to Chalmette, much to their happiness and confusion.
Suddenly, the Chalmette Refinery was sold to PBF Energy, and Eric was moved to Baton Rouge. Once again, they'd be apart... but not for long.
Shortly after the sale, Dianna decided to quit PBF and applied to business schools. However, when Dianna decided to enroll at Yale, it meant that they'd be apart (again...). But this time, they knew that it'd be only temporary!
They bought a house together, and Reagan moved in.
Woof woof.
Then, when Dianna came home from school for Valentine's Day, Eric proposed!
As they move on to this next stage of their lives, Eric and Dianna are tremendously excited to celebrate with y'all in the Texas Hill Country.
(Reagan will be there too.)
